Sunset from our Tucson home

July 4th our flight ascended from Lihue, Kauai. We were on board, with one way tickets to Tucson, Arizona .. new home .. new life. Five years ago I wrote a post which reflected my feelings about living as our innate selves .. rediscovering the child within and the gift or gifts which are the pulse of every individual. I wrote about living solely for those gifts once we found them .. about the importance of spending every moment possible enveloped in our joy of Creativity. I am happy to exclaim "When the plane landed in Tucson, my creative spirit ascended". Having focused on that moment for the last five years, I have indeed become "Comfortably Poor".

I wish you success on your journey!

I was working at a job that was sucking the life out of me. And, it really wasn't the work so much as it was the people. I really needed to stay another couple of years before I retired to be in a better financial situation. But, at the end of last year I decided my mental and physical health were worth more than that, so I retired early and have been extremely happy I did. Things are tight, but manageable.

I am working to get my health back and to get things taken care of that I have let slide over the last several years of misery and have bought an older camper van that was in great condition and when things are under control, I plan on taking even more trips to see more of this beautiful country. But, at least I am feeling so much better and am truly enjoying my freedom! :) Yay!

It is the truth for me as well. I too will embrace your mindset.
I drove by your house a few days ago. I was filled with so many amazing memories. I can't wait to make more in Tucson.
