DROPLETS

It rained yesterday morning  ..
placating "the dry" ..
moisturizing collective skins.

Old dust washed away ..
offering life a drink ..
invigorating hopeful souls.

Air cleansed by crystal water ..
filtered to purity ..
breath of new beginnings.

Followed by countless droplets .. 
unadulterated by yesterday ..
 shimmering on dream branches.

Perfectly clear droplets ..
no cloud of agenda ..
resting peacefully.

Droplets awaiting their purpose ..
offering their gift ..
their free taste of life.

Like the multitude of droplets ..
we can offer ourselves to be ..
gifts in life for others.

Dream of dreams .. 
that all mankind sit beautifully ..
in perfect order.

Enhancing our branches ..
like droplets ..
luminescent in the light.

In youth I met Her ..
My heart raced
My mind spun.

​A fleeting romance
constrained by time
​impassioned by discovery

Her beauty immeasurable
Her taste exhilarating
​Her aroma unforgettable

​Life tore Her from me
physically ripped away ..
​seemingly in memoriam forever

​Years later
​second life occurred
Her essence reappeared

More beautiful than memory
More invigorating than possible
​Her existence sweetly overwhelming

I love Her ..
​Her perfection
Her imperfection

On this day of Her pain
​my warm tears flow ..
​flow to soothe Her 

Tears to wash
the memory of blood
from Her injured soul

Tears for clearing
eyes of the world
​for higher vision

I beg everyone ..
shed healing tears for Her today ..
​pour la France

as voices around our world shout
​whatever is within them to declare.

Today ..
​as we hear the loud refrain .. 
​whether it be joyful, angry, ambivalent.

Today ..
I lend my voice .. ma voix ..
one tiny voice for higher purpose.

Today ..
​my voice declares love ..
​love for the angry, the joyful, the ambivalent 

Today ..
whatever you feel .. whatever you profess ..
​give your voice in song for love.

because ...

Tomorrow ..
that voice of love
​will reflect the humanity of today ..

​Never to be silenced ...

Just Accept It

It hits at the most unexpected time .. the urge to be there.  Wherever I may be when the feeling overwhelms me is always a place other than that place.  No matter how much I love or cherish the space I'm occupying at the  "Moment of Impact" this unforeseen entity rushes over my entire being with tsunami force, causing me to exhibit displays of uncharacteristically  bizarre behavior.  I suspect you all know the feeling.  I suspect you've experienced the same melancholy moments of wanting to be there.  ​

I've yet to determine what it is that triggers me .. what it is that institutes unrest regarding the present .. desire for that other reality .. pain for what is missing at this precise moment in time.  There are no obvious answers to the dilemma .. to the great frustration of wanting, but never completely fulfilling, whatever it is that needs filling up.

​                                      Endless Possibilities ... Places to Infinity ...

Is it the great joke of creation .. that we shall seek and seek and seek .. never being completely fulfilled or satisfied? 

​                                                                  I think not. 

It is a magnificent gift to all .. the "forever" given to each of us for exploration and personal growth.  The only joke is self imposed by those who fail to realize the magnitude of our communal gift from the Universe.

​When "it" hit me, not wanting to be amongst those who may chance being considered "self imposed jokes",  I hurriedly purchased a ticket to France.  Oddly, the melancholy is rapidly subsiding as the elusive answer presents itself ... whispering ...

​                                                               "Just accept It"

​                                                                     and I do ..
