That difficult task of "Looking in the Mirror" has become more and more prevalent for me as life flies by. Striving to be more than I was yesterday, or the day before that, or the years leading to "now". I am dedicated to being more, giving more, and relishing the gifts of nature and fellow beings .. nothing else holds such importance. The reality is I am far away from what I want to be, with the road to that place stretched before me .. dictating that I drive thoughtfully and carefully in order to obtain gifts along the way. Along this drive I have already received the knowledge of one great gift ... While I focus on reaching my destination
the journey becomes clear .. There is much "self work" ahead. So much "self work" that I have little time .. Little time to judge others as I attempt to be a Better Man from Kauai to Paris .. and all places between Aloha et Au revoir, Bill

Good luck in all these efforts Bill. Your thoughts and aspirations are so much like your uncle Leon. I sincerely hope you are able to conquer your demons and accomplish many more good things.

Dad .. thank you so very much .. I could not receive a greater compliment than having a philosophy similar to my Uncle. Leon A. Denham Jr. (My Uncle) was instrumental in opening my mind to universal truths which continue to direct me today. He introduced me to the concept of focusing on and filling ourselves with light and truth, therefore not allowing any space for negativity or darkness .. nor any demons. He was a great and enlightened man, and a wonderful teacher to me. Thank You for this compliment, Dad, I hope I am becoming worthy of his efforts .. Mahalo et Merci. Bill

I admire your philosophy. To remember always that "life flies by" is so important ... it causes me to stop each day and reflect. And I know first hand because my children are parents and now my grandchildren are young adults! To "not judge others" is something to strive for always. I feel certain that your Uncle Leon would be very proud of you.

Cynthia .. Thank you for the kind words. Receiving comments is among my favorite moments in time. As you may have noticed, over time I have written more and more from my "gut" about thoughts which I believe have substance and meaning for a fulfilling existence. To have readers come back with positive reinforcement is truly the "Elixir of Life" for this man. Merci & Mahalo for being one of those wonderful people. Bill
