Marvel of nature

Calming .. soothing .. healing ..

Cleansed by the rains of Wai'ale'ale

Brilliant colors kiss her

Rainbows adorn her

And the ocean

The ocean

She soothes

Invigorates my soul

Provides serenity

Simply by being

Sun balanced breezes

Music of water with sand

The great creation

Absolute perfection

__

Mother

Declare your beauty

Sweet aromas

Soft flowers of life

__

Kiss them

Remind them in Paris

Your tears will wash away

Blood on the Floor

I can only 'second' Karen and your Dad's comments. Your poem would reach and sooth the hearts of all Frenchmen and untold others troubled by the terrible happenings in Paris last week.

Thank you for the lovely photo of one of my favorite flowers: the cleome. It reseeds by the thousands when all you need are a few large plants, but I welcome it back to my garden each year with its fascinating blooms in white and others with blooms in shades of pink. Thanks, too, for your poem. Best wishes.

Thanks for naming that beautiful flower .. Cleome .. has a distinctly French sound about it. I "captured" that one in Paris last September .. maybe Cleome will be the healing flower. Mahalo et Merci, Bill
