so many miles
with moments of exhilaration
depression
defeat
joy


Reflections of regret
anticipation
sorrow
passion
rainbow of emotion attached to life's travel
always grasping hope


Remembrance of the promise attached to 
a first kiss
soaring above all else
primal screaming of the soul
discovering ultimate pleasure
taken and given .. given and taken


Now
as hair grays
smoldering deep within lies perfect recall
of that instant
on a park bench
and the scent of her
