Fluffed carpet of clouds was substantial
seemingly made for strolling upon
I snapped a photo and sent it
transgressing rules of the plane I was on
My Son replied quite quickly
"Looks like you could walk on them"
and who am I to argue
so I immediately acted on a whim
Amazing how easy the door popped up
even though we were quite high
one step was all it took me
to know I could really fly
Soft puffy floor came rushing
faster than I expected
screams of my soul began gushing
sharing this mind infected
I plummeted through the atmosphere
white fluff failed to slow me
realizing my time was near
I started gettin' Holy
"Oh God" I prayed "save this fool"
after all, it was His illusion
"I'll be good this time, just show me the light"
I screamed in wild confusion
He did it .. He spared my life
He gave me another pass
I viewed the light of a perfect sky
.. with a church steeple up my ass
