I wanna

I wanna

I wanna be beautiful like a flower
I wanna rise out of the dirt

I wanna ..

I wanna scent that produces smiles
I wanna cause happiness

I wanna ..

I wanna be soft to touch
I wanna tickle noses

I wanna ..

I wanna grow where strife prevails
I  wanna dry your tears

I wanna ..

I wanna reach one glorious moment
I wanna shine in the sun

I wanna ..

I wanna create one lasting memory
I wanna leave a good one

I wanna ..

I wanna stop tryin'
I wanna be free

I wanna ..

I wanna be beautiful like a flower
I wanna be me ...

I wanna ..

I enjoyed your poem, too. You convey so many thoughts and feelings in so few words very nicely "put together"! Mahalo.

Thank You, Cynthia .. it really is gratifying to know someone reads, understands, and appreciates what I'm attempting to convey in a poem. I don't create too much poetry and it is a strong urge that brings on that particular muse, so it is very meaningful to me when the words touch someone. Mahalo et Merci for letting me know you enjoyed this piece. Aloha, Bill

Bill,
Thank you for sharing the beautiful flowers of Hawaii in words and literally. We can remember and imitate the flower's beauty and simplicity in our personality. Good stimulating thoughts.
I brought an orchid from Florida to Alabama. It had a 3 foot branch with 22 blooms this year. Everyone asked, "Is that real?" I guess it was shouting beauty for us this year. Keep doing the same, Bill.
All the best,
Debbie Ambrous

Bill,
I forgot to mention that the flower in the picture looks like a flower in my garden called "cat's whiskers". I have more pansies and verbena to plant once I shake a cold from my system. I'm drinking tea and juice, plus trying to get some rest. Take care, Debbie

Aloha Debbie .. Sorry you aren't feeling well .. stupid colds! Yes, those are cat's whiskers in a friends yard. I had never seen them before and grasped the opportunity to get a photo of them. They are truly beautiful. Get Well Soon!
