They quietly sit ..

moved by breeze ..

dancing joyfully with the wind.

Many times have I passed ..

missing their beauty

fractured thoughts swirling aimlessly

Vigilant lovers

they patiently wait

regal splendor in silence

Countless times I've been the fool

self absorbed

prancing proudly amongst them

When this fool awakes

priorities emerge

receptors open.

Only then do they scream

"Come .. be kissed by the flowers" !

Pure Love

Beautiful orchids but I wasn't sure about the last photo. I miss the islands. I lived in Ewa Beach, O'ahu and I miss the island life. I want to come home but I have to live close to my transplant hospital for at least 3-5 years. We'll rethink by then. For now, Maryland is home. Mahalo for the beautiful photos.

The beautiful flower in the last photo is our ginger plant that was gifted to us by a dear friend. The plant came from Koke'e .. the flowers are always magnificent and the aroma next to heaven itself. Kayni, I read some of your blog and am sending you healing thoughts .. These photos are beautiful! You and Darlene do have the 4 greenest
