BABY .. WAITING AT THE GATE

When I got home from walking yesterday, Baby was planted by the gate .. waiting. I was fortunate enough to get the photo above before she left her post to rub gently against my legs and enjoy my hand floating across her back.

What a treat it is to have Baby sitting at our gate when I come back to the house. What a wonderful feeling .. knowing your pet loves you enough to miss your presence and await your return.

Receiving this feeling from Baby displayed to me why Loyalty & Love must certainly be synonymous ... how can one possibly exist without the other ... ?

Just wanted to share a special moment & wish you the joy of Loyalty & Love

I hope you have a "Baby" waiting at your front gate ...

Hi, Bill~that is one sweet photo of Baby, and YES! there is nothing like a devoted pet waiting for your return. Maxine, our 8 yr old miniature schnauzer, is a total love bug. The joy and love she brings fills my life. I just adore being ADORED and Miss Maxie is a master of adoration.

Bill, I did not make that commitment to walk a few days ago even though I did comment. I am making the commitment right now, and I will say 1/2 hour a day, rain or shine. Maxie loves to walk, and this is a way I can show her how much she means to me. Ok, there-now I have said it...let the steps begin!

Congrats on taking steps to take steps .. looking forward to hearing about your future walks. In that area, I must confess I missed yesterday and will also miss today but will be "back in the saddle" on a 4 miler tomorrow. I do hope we will create a network of healthy happy walkers who will inspire one another to get out there and enjoy the walk of their choosing. Simply reading about one another is helping me create my habit of walking .. it gives me energy to "just do it". I'm really happy you are on board, Pat!

What a beautiful cat she is! Makes me want to reach out and pet her too.
Ok, and I'll commit to a half hour walk a day for starters too. Mileage is too difficult when I forget the pedometer, and I like to go in different directions. L'audace, toujours l'audace!
