 ​Perfect they are
small hummingbird creatures
owning the skies
delicate features
​
Left quickly right
hovering then
backwards forwards
moving by whim

Formidable foes
they truly must be
no living prey
could possibly flee

Visual feast
I watch them by habit
but when will I see
a pretty blue rabbit

I love watching the hummingbirds “flit” around the yard.
