Perfectly Erratic

Mind swirling ..
thoughts twirling  ..
torment beyond reach.

Go, this way ..
no, that way ..
beg sweet relief.

Tortured indecision ..
synapses raw ..

physio-electro abuse.

Hands to the sky ..
I question "why" ..
life is damned obtuse.

Pacing the floor ..
 exit the door ..
heed Nature's soulful call.

Answers again ..
borne by wind ..
greet my weary soul.

Colors swirling ..
petals twirling ..
twisted prophets of  The Plan.

Perfectly erratic ..
leaving me ecstatic ..
to be this imbalanced man.

Hello Bill Facker. When I told cousin Suzan Gray I was going to Hawaii next week, she said I should visit you! Just going to be on Oahu to participate in a choral festival. Suzan's sister, Jeanie, will be with as well. So Ali shared your post today. I see why. Very much erratic myself. Just figure seeing your post is synchronistic enough to comment.

Mary Jo, how nice to awaken and see your comment with references to Susan and Jeanie! I have just returned from Oahu, where we attended the Hapalua Half Marathon, and that following a two week trip to Tucson, Arizona .. so I won't be traveling anyplace in the near future. I wish you a wonderful visit and do hope you will extend my "Aloha" to Susan and Jeanie. Thank you for taking a moment of your "Synchronistically Erratic" time to honor me with a comment!

Mahalo et Merci,
Bill

DS .. after a few moments of pondering my response to your comment, I decide it is indeed an honor to have someone declare my writing has in some way stimulated them to the level of "Erratic Erotica". Thank You!

Mahalo et Merci,
Bill

You chose the perfect orchid to "bookend" your poem since it is twirling and swirling, also. I like the contrast of such an exalted blossom being supported by a lowly rusted wire fence in the first photo ... must be some symbolism there. As always, thank you for your expressive poem. Best wishes, Cynthia

Dear Cynthia (and ALL commentors) .. I can't begin to express how much it means to receive comments from those few of you who take a moment of your time to give back to me. I am forever indebted to each and every one of you.

Mahalo et Merci,
Bill

My mind was swirling and my thoughts were twirling as I looked at this beautiful flower. It gave me such joy, and such peace. The beautiful poem that accompanied it took my breath away. We are all a bit imbalanced, that is what makes us so unique.
